BIOGRAPHY

Michael Softley

Born : 23 August 1990

The first of three children.

Attended St Cuthbert High school where he showed a remarkable ability for the creative arts, receiving top marks in that field. Being one of only three students in the country to receive the highest mark in fine art for the year of 2007. Following this his continuation in fine art ended when graduating from Leeds university. A passion for music which has always been with him since learning to play the piano from the age of 15 came ever more to the forefront. Listening to his idols such as Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Matt Monro to name but a few he took to singing wherever and whenever possible. The love and dedication he has shown in all his creative work so far comes through in his music. From his first ever performance with his brother right up to today's they both have went from strength to strength. Michael's singing style and stage presence are unique as they are reminiscent of the greats of the past.

Glen Softley

Born : 28th August 1993

He is the middle child of one brother Michael and one younger sister. He went to the same school as his brother and never spent much time messing around the playground as he spent most of his time playing the piano, against the wishes of his teachers.  From the ages of 18 to 20 he studied Advertising at Newcastle college and spent many happy days learning and developing his creativity. At every opportunity he listened to singers/entertainers like Dean Martin, Elvis Presley and many others.  He never sought to entertain till he was 19 years old, encouraged by his brother saying "we can do that" whilst watching a singer at one of the many pubs and clubs in Newcastle. Encouraged by his friends and family he began to think "we could do this entertaining lark" many years on and they haven't looked back. Performing in all manner of venues, from weddings, clubs and even a lobby or two. Still wining and still singing, this is what we're meant to do.
